IB Chinese Tuition in Singapore
A COURSE-SPECIFIC APPROACH
IB Chinese support should begin with the right course
IB Chinese A and IB Chinese B assess different abilities. Chinese A students need sustained textual analysis and literary argument. Chinese B students need to understand and communicate effectively across themes, audiences and text types. Our tuition begins with the student's actual course, level, school progress and work samples — not a generic Chinese worksheet.

WHAT STUDENTS TRAIN
Targeted preparation for each assessment task
Move beyond naming techniques. Build a clear interpretation and explain how language, form and structure shape meaning for an audience.
Paper 1 guide →Turn detailed knowledge of two works into a comparative thesis, organised paragraphs and evidence-led literary argument.
Paper 2 guide →Select an analysable global issue and extracts, connect each extract to the wider body of work, and prepare for follow-up questions.
IO guide →Refine an area of inquiry into a focused line of inquiry, sustain analysis and revise with the relevant criteria in view.
Match content, text type, audience, purpose and register, while extending language range and improving accuracy.
Develop answers through viewpoint, reason, example and connection instead of memorising a fixed speech.
HOW TUITION WORKS
A visible learning cycle, not endless practice papers
- 01 DiagnoseReview a current essay, oral recording or timed task to identify the exact performance gap.
- 02 ModelStudy how a strong response selects evidence, develops reasoning and fulfils the task.
- 03 PractiseWork on one high-impact skill through short, focused tasks before attempting the full assessment.
- 04 Receive feedbackSeparate content, analysis, organisation and language issues so revision has a clear purpose.
- 05 TransferApply the method to a new text, question or speaking prompt under increasingly realistic conditions.
VISION CHINESE DIFFERENCE
Specialist content with teacher-led, AI-assisted feedback
Text-specific teaching
Students work with the genres, works, themes and assessment tasks relevant to their own IB Chinese course.
Feedback students can act on
Comments identify what to change and why. Students then revise or reattempt the task to demonstrate improvement.
Responsible use of AI
AI can support language diagnosis and targeted practice. Teachers remain responsible for standards, interpretation and learning decisions.
LESSON OPTIONS
Support for regular study and specific deadlines
Ongoing Tuition
Weekly support aligned with school learning, assessment preparation and long-term improvement.

A short programme for a defined need such as Paper 1 analysis, comparative writing or oral delivery.

- An IO presentation describes content instead of analysing how the text works
- A Chinese B student has memorised vocabulary but cannot use it naturally
- A student needs clearer feedback than a score or general comment

FAQ
IB Chinese tuition FAQs
Do you teach both IB Chinese A and Chinese B?
Yes. The learning goals and lesson design differ by course and level, so we confirm the student's exact subject before recommending a programme.
How do I know whether my child needs Chinese A or Chinese B support?
Start with the school's course placement, the student's language background and current work. If course selection is still open, a diagnostic discussion can clarify the demands of each pathway.
Can a student join only for Paper 1 or Individual Oral preparation?
Focused support may be arranged for a defined assessment need, subject to timetable and teacher availability. We first review the student's current performance so the module addresses a real gap.
Are lessons available online?
Online learning may be available where it suits the student's needs and the type of training required. Contact the academy for current arrangements.
Does AI write students' assignments?
No. AI may help diagnose language patterns or generate targeted practice. Students must read, think and produce their own work, with teachers guiding interpretation, standards and revision.
